Hate

hate
· v. feel intense dislike for or a strong aversion towards.
· n.
1 intense dislike; strong aversion.
2 informal a disliked person or thing: Richard’s pet hate is filling in tax forms.
– DERIVATIVES hatable (also hateable) adj. hater n.
– ORIGIN OE hatian (v.), hete (n.), of Gmc origin.

Am I hateful? According to this definition of hate, I probably am. I feel an intense dislike for certain things. However, I am quite confused by everyone calling me hateful, because obviously everyone has an intense dislike for something. Obviously, their definition must be different.

I believe certain things must be done to, for instance, end the war in Iraq. If I say, “Bomb the rogue cities!”, I am labeled an Imperialist Nazi. However, bombing rogue cities is how we defeated Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. Oh yes, and when I say homosexuality is immoral, I am labeled a bigoted homophobe. My beliefs are what they are. And although Mr. Anon may not like it, the Bible does say homosexuality is wrong. Now I may have put it in the wrong terms, maybe I got too hotheaded when I was writing, I don’t know. As for abortion, yes, well, I fervently hate abortion. But I don’t hate the people who commit abortion. If I did, that would be truly anti-Biblical. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. In truth, I have the same chance of being saved by Christ as anyone else, no matter what I’ve done or they’ve done.

I’ve tried my best to be as logical and true to my beliefs as possible in this post. If what I’ve said is hateful by Mr. Anon’s or anyone else’s definition, well, then, I’m sorry, I am an extremely hateful person.

If There Was No Such Thing As Political Correctness………

The following is an email I received and I think its a pretty good speech. Check it out for yourself.

Big Jimmy

WOULDN’T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of Iraq regime has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq . This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short. The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains everyone not on the first list. Most of the world’s nations are on that list. My press secretay will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hellholes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home. On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

 /FONT>

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France , or maybe China .

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France , Germany , and Russia . Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bon chance, mes amis.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed I don’t care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York .

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2. President Fox and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra tank and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put em? Yep, border security.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we’ll be drilling for oil in Alaska - which will take care of this country’s oil needs for decades to come. If you’re an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there. They care.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, “darn tootin.”

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America . It is time to eliminate homelessness in America .  To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won’t forgt.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

God bless America . Thank you and good night.

If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading it in English, thank a soldier.

Am I a Prophet!?

No,no I definitely am not but what I can say is, well, I told you so. Rmember the post I made The American Threat? Remember the statement I made? To refresh your memory I will paste it here:

We have a department of everything. In George Washington’s first cabinet there was the Department of State, Department of Treasury, and the Depatment of War. They didn’t have Departments of education and agriculture, etc. because we don’t need it.

Latter on in that same paragraph I said:

Now the gov’t also has their hands on the schooling of our children. Soon there will be the Department of Raising Your Child (probably proposed by your favorite Hillary Clinton). Think I’m jumping to conclusions? Was it not Hillary that said “It takes a city to raise a child”. No Hillary, It takes PARENTS to raise a child!

Remember that? Well it is starting to happen. In California an assembly woman has propossed a law that will make it a crime to spank a child three and under. Parents could face up to a YEAR in jail if they spank THEIR child. What!? Since when can the gov’t step in and say you can’t spank YOUR child? Beating is one thing, but spanking? Disciplining a child is not only good for them but necessary! How will they know what is wrong and what is right. At three they don’t understand lectures! All they understand is consequence. If I do this I will get spanked. Thats what they understand. A child is a very fragile thing and if we let them do whatever they want when their young they will not know how to function in the real world when their older.

My parents spanked me and I am very glad they did. It told me what was wrong and what was right, who my authority was and that I couldn’t just go and do whatever I want. Spanking is necessary!

I hope Democrats and Republicans alike can come to that conclusion and that the propossed law (that will take away the authority of parents and give it to the state) will be tossed out the window.

America is heading to socialism, and I’m afraid there is no way to bring it back.

Wrong or Right?

The following is a news story from AP:

FBI probes fatal Ariz. border shooting

Mon Jan 15, 7:34 PM ET

PHOENIX - The

FBI said Monday it was investigating the shooting death of a Mexican immigrant by a U.S. Border Patrol agent that had been criticized by Mexican President Felipe Calderon.

Francisco Javier Dominguez-Rivera, 22, of Puebla, Mexico, was killed Friday in a confrontation with the unidentified agent north of the U.S.-Mexico border between Bisbee and Douglas.

On Sunday, Calderon expressed his “most energetic protest” against the shooting.

A group of seven people were crossing the desert and the agent took six of them into custody without incident, authorities said.

But the agent and Dominguez-Rivera began fighting, authorities said. The agent, who believed his life was in danger, shot and killed the man, the Border Patrol said previously. An autopsy was scheduled Wednesday.

The agent was put on paid administrative leave pending the investigation.

First thing: Who the heck cares what the Mexican president says?

Second thing: Why were these invaders illegally crossing our borders?

Third thing: If this FBI agent was out to get ‘em then he would have shot all seven not just one!

Why do we keep fighting this one. Throw up a wall and get over it. These people are illegal it is illegal what their doing and if they want to come into this country then get in here legally like so many other people.

And to those who think were multi- cultural, were not, were multi-racial. We have a culture JOIN IT!

I Disagree Mr. President

As every one of you know I am a supporter of our President, our troops, and this war. But I disagree with the President’s latest mandate to install 21,500 more troops into Iraq. Those of you who personally know me and have talked to me about this subject know that I have been saying for a long time that if it ever came to civil war in Iraq then it would be best to leave. That is the time we have come to. Iraq is in the beginnings of a battle that the US cannot stop. These people will have a civil war and either it will go to complete anarchy or it will begin another dictatorship. Probably the latter. Our job is done there, we did what we set out to do which was free a country from a tyrant. Again I still am in total support of this war, I just believe that its now time to slowly pull out. We have bigger things to worry about now, North Korea, Iran, and China. If we could have secured Iraq like we did Afghanistan then I would have a totally different take on things but Iraq is going to civil war, a war that is going to happen whether or not US troops are there. Our boys that are home need a break, for I believe it will only get worse.

I have said that I am 99% behind this war and the 1% reason I’m not is exactly because I knew this is what would happen. Iraqis are a people that have always been ruled over, a people that would have absolutely no clue what to do in an democratic republic! Is there any Muslim country that is a democratic republic? No. For the very reason that the Koran supports dictatorship, the religion supports forced everything. I do believe that Islamic countries as a whole could not function with an “America” like gov’t. It can’t happen and it never will and I believe that it was a farce way of thinking that we could ever change that.

Forced Religion or Total Socialism?

I was asked to make this post about almost a month ago so I feel obligated to make it. This is about Religion and our troops. In particular, Evangelical Christianity. Heres the article:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A watchdog group that promotes religious freedom in the U.S. military accused senior officers on Monday using their rank and influence to coerce soldiers and airmen into adopting evangelical Christianity.

Such proselytizing, according to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, has created a core of “radical” Christians within the U.S. armed forces and Pentagon who punish those who do not accept evangelical beliefs by stalling their careers.

“It’s egregious beyond the pale,” said Mikey Weinstein, president and founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. “We apparently have a radicalized, evangelical Christian Pentagon within the rest of the Pentagon.”

The group asked the Pentagon’s inspector general to investigate a video in which some Army and Air Force officers discuss their faith while in uniform.

According to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, the video played for reporters was a promotional tool for Christian Embassy, a group that describes itself as a ministry helping national and international leaders blend faith and work.

The executive director of Christian Embassy, Bob Varney, did not respond to a request for comment.

Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said the Defense Department does not endorse any religion or religious organization or judge the validity of religious expressions.

He confirmed the Defense Department inspector general, the Pentagon’s internal watchdog agency, received the letter requesting the probe, but noted it was the inspector general’s policy not to say whether an investigation had been opened.

“At this point it would be inappropriate to speculate as to what actions might be taken,” Whitman said.

RELIGIOUS RECRUITING

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation said the officers on the video violated military rules by wearing their uniforms while discussing their religious beliefs, giving the appearance of official participation in a religious organization.

That appearance, according to the group, is particularly damaging in the military, where rank carries great influence.

“It associates the power of office with sectarian ideology,” said MeLinda Morton, a Lutheran reverend and former Air Force chaplain who said her military career was hurt because she did not adopt evangelical views.

The religious freedom group also raised issues with the content of the video, including a comment from Air Force Maj. Gen. Jack Catton that he would discuss his faith with people who came to his Joint Staff directorate within the Pentagon.

Weinstein compared what he said was radical proselytizing within the military with the Islamist militants U.S. troops are confronting in wars overseas.

“When we’re facing a global war on terror against what we call Islamic extremists, it certainly doesn’t help when we have apparently a viewpoint from the cognoscenti and glitterati, the leadership of the Pentagon, pushing a particular virulent worldview down the throats of people who are helpless to argue against it,” Weinstein said.

To me this is very interesting and shows just how much people are against Christianity. It’s fascinating they said these officers were “radical proselytizing” by discussing faith within the Pentagon. Are we not free to discuss are faith anymore? Do we have to be in a particular kind of clothing to talk about are faith and ask others about theirs? What is so disgusting about this article is they compared this “radical proselytizing” with the Islamic Extremists that we are fighting overseas. How can they possibly make this statement? It is very sick. Whats better, talking about your faith or blowing up buildings, blowing up yourself, blowing up cars, killing millions to spread your religion? Whats better? To spread a religion peacefully or by killing? It amazes me that Americans don’t see this. These terrorists are not from different religions they’re all from the same one: Islam.

Which religion promotes terrorism, Christianity or Islam?

Even if you are not a born again, which faith is more peaceful?

Is talking about your faith radical?
