Are We Still Blind?

Are we still blind to Iran? Honest question. Are we still going to live in ignorance to a major threat to civilization. That seems to be the case. Iran has got to go. If it was up to me Iran would not have had the opportunity to commit the hiddeous act of kidnapping 15 British navymen. But my fear is we are still blind to the threat Ahmadinejad poses. He is not an honest or sincere man, he is not someone to mess around with! He just needs to be simply, taken out. All Ahmadinejad is a ruthless dictator that wants to destroy anything non-muslim. Well why shouldn’t he that is what the Koran teaches. It is a faith built upon blood, not peace. If it was about peace then we would not be having the problems we have with them. He is a man of faith, just its, the wrong faith. My fear is we will wait too long to do something. How much does it take. Iran has done more atrosities against us than Iraq has done towards us and we were certainly justified in going into Iraq, so in my eyes were doubly justified in going into Iran!

We have conclusive evidence that Iran

1. gave weopons and bombs to Hezbollah

2. that Iran is sending in terrorists into Iraq

3. that many roadside bombs in Iraq are from Iran make

4. that Iran illegally kidnapped British navy men in Iraqi waters.

When the final straw be too late for America to do anything?

Iran is an evil regime, the question is: Who’s man enough to stop them?

They obviously want peace

I’m really beginning to question your mental stability Big Jimmy. This post is so far out there that I can’t even begin to address it. If this is the mind set of the youth of this country, I am really scared. Is not Muslims who will destroy the world, it will be those who claim to be protecting it that will.

Here is your post, I just swap countries and one could hardly tell the difference.

Are we still blind to the USA? Honest question. Are we still going to live in ignorance to a major threat to civilization. That seems to be the case. The US has got to go. If it was up to me the US would not have had the opportunity to commit the hiddeous act of invading our neighbor and torturing Muslims, . But my fear is we are still blind to the threat Bush poses. He is not an honest or sincere man, he is not someone to mess around with! He just needs to be simply, taken out. All Bush is a ruthless dictator that wants to destroy anything non-Christian. Well why shouldn’t he that is what the Bible teaches. It is a faith built upon blood, not peace. If it was about peace then we would not be having the problems we have with them. He is a man of faith, just its, the wrong faith. My fear is we will wait too long to do something. How much does it take. The US has done more atrosities against us Muslims than Iraq has done towards the US and we were certainly justified in securing our borders, so in my eyes were doubly justified in hating the US!
We have conclusive evidence that the US
    1. gave weopons and bombs to Iraq in the Iran/Iraq war
    2. that US is gearing up for a war with Iran
    3. that many civilian Muslim deaths in Iraq are from the US
    4. that the US illegally kidnapped Muslims and held them at Abu Gharib.
When the final straw be too late for Iran to do anything?

bla bla bla, stupidity, ignorance, sarcasm. Let me join in. Nuke America!!! Destroy Democracy! Burn the Bible and the close-minded bigots that follow it! Down with order! Anarchy!

Oh, that was fun, I can see why people are liberals. It’s all a big joke!

Anon, if we are close-minded, so are you. Just look at your last comment.

King Crusader care to offer anything other than “Am not, you are”? When will you people learn that attempting to blow up another country is not the solution.

You two are so blinded by your faith that you can’t see the forest thru the trees. Your rhetoric is no different than the fanatical sect of Muslims. Just try to take a step back and see how similar your messages are, just with opposite good guys and bad guys. That was the purpose of post #2.

  6. King_Crusader says:

The point of my comment was to show you are the same as us, except you are liberal.
You get just as passionate as us, and just as angry.

I am not the same as you, I’m not advocating destroying another country or killing millions of people because they have a different belief system than myself. I am not angry, I’m disgusted that someone from the land of free would wish the anniliation of another country simple because they don’t worship the same god as those in this country. Not only a person from the land of the free, but a person who nterprets the Bible literally - supposedly a religion of peace.

  8. King_Crusader says:

Whatever. You are obviously misunderstanding our words. We have never said we wanted to destroy the Muslims for the reason that they are are Muslims. We have said that we wish the regimes that threaten America and those supporting them to be destroyed for the reason that they they are a risk to America.

I will repeat myself again. If we did not interpret the Bible literally, we could make up whatever we want. I’m sure you see our beliefs as just that, anyway.

Anyway, I believe we all have become uncivil, including myself, so lets try to argue logically. First, which of these statements do you believe we don’t have evidence of:

    1. gave weopons and bombs to Hezbollah
    2. that Iran is sending in terrorists into Iraq
    3. that many roadside bombs in Iraq are from Iran make
    4. that Iran illegally kidnapped British navy men in Iraqi waters.

That depends, are you talking about before our illegal invasion of another country (we did more than threaten, we destroyed it) or after? You are missing my point, that none of your list would have happened if we were not in Iraq in the first place. You can’t make the same claim about my list. What do think would happen if some country invaded Canada? We would sit by and just what it happen or would we view this as a threat to our country as well?

As for your belief, it doesn’t matter either way to me. You free to worship whatever and however you wish. My point is that you are not, maybe not so much in this post but it is certainly a theme of this blog, willing to let another country do the same.

I believe, and the polls (even of the servicemen) back me up that W is more of a threat to the world than any other leader of a country.

  10. King_Crusader says:

We believe that our belief in Christ is the only true way, that is correct, and so although it is other peoples’ choice to believe what they want, they are wrong. No we should not to change their beliefs by force, that is definitely not what the Bible teaches. If we have gone overboard and said something like that I apologize.

Anyway back to the point. Do you truly believe this statement?
“I believe… that W is more of a threat to the world than any other leader of a country. “

First, the only thing the polls say is that people don’t think he is good president. Second, do you really think the leaders of N. Korea, China, and Iran aren’t belligerent? Even if you think America is being imperialistic in Iraq, you have to admit those three are no better. We’ve agreed in the past that Hussien was a tyrant. Was de-throning him a bad thing? Perhaps you think we should stay out of other people’s business, and if that is the case, I somewhat agree with you. If you truly think G. Bush is worse than Ahmanijhad, I don’t know what to say.

Yes I do truly believe that statement (and the poll specifically asked that question). In a span of six years he has taken the one remaining superpower, whose economy and currency stabilize the world markets, and put us in the perilous condition of owing more money to our enemies than we can pay. We have become more dependent on foreign oil (owned by those who hate us) than ever before. He has destabilized the entire Middle East with no hopes of ever repairing it. Hundreds of thousands have lost their lives for nothing and Al Quida is stronger than ever.

While the other countries that you mention are certainly terrible, none of them could have the effect on the world scene like W. I do agree that Hussien was a vile person, but there have been many of those in past, and we supported him a decade or so ago when it suited our purposes. Was de-throning him a good thing? As far as punishment for his crimes - yes, of course. Was it a good thing for the Middle East and the world - that remains to be seen.

Again no reply when I corner your sound bites with facts.

  13. Big Jimmy says:

Obviously we depend on foreign oils because the dang liberals won’t let us drill Alaska. Do you really believe its W fault that we depend on oil? of course its not. thats just the way America’s become, no matter what president, America runs on oil, its unfortunate though that it is in the hands of our enemies but it shouldn’t. You see the reason we really haven’t been able to really win a war since WWII is because of whats called a “limited war” which the dear Democrat Harry S Truman came up with in Korea. Ever since Korea we have never fought an all out war like WWII. A limited war leaves us for nothing but defeat! The reason i am bringing this up is because we should most certainly be using the oil wells in Iraq. why not? would you rather spend 2.95 or .99 cents? Iraq is an oil field and the best thing they do with it is burn it. i’m not saying we should take all of the oil wells but i do believe we should control about half of them. we need to stop fighting a limited war where we feel restrained. we need to go in there like MacArthur would have done to China and NK and just smoke em. thats the only way to win!
How was dethroning Saddam not a good thing for the Middle East? He wanted to wipe Israel off the map, actually all the muslim countries wanted to wipe Israel off the map. for that reason alone we should have taken him out. whose are ally Israel or the Arabs who attacked us on 9/11? who should we support? I believe that is an obvious answer.

  14. Big Jimmy says:

oh and post a link to these supposed “polls” that servicemen call W the biggest threat of the world. i would like to see that.
