Hey ,Ho, Ho Putin’s Got to Go!!

MOSCOW —  President Vladimir Putin warned that Moscow could take “retaliatory steps” if Washington proceeds with plans to build a missile defense system for Europe, including possibly aiming nuclear weapons at targets on the continent.

Speaking to foreign reporters days before he heads to Germany for the annual summit with President Bush and the other Group of Eight leaders, Putin assailed the White House plan to place a radar system in the Czech Republic and interceptor missiles in neighboring Poland. Washington says the system is needed to counter a potential threat from Iran.

In an interview released Monday, Putin suggested that Russia may respond to the threat by aiming its nuclear weapons at Europe.

“If a part of the strategic nuclear potential of the United States appears in Europe and, in the opinion of our military specialists, will threaten us, then we will have to take appropriate steps in response. What kind of steps? We will have to have new targets in Europe,” Putin said, according to a transcript released by the Kremlin. These could be targeted with “ballistic or cruise missiles or maybe a completely new system” he said.

Wow, Putin is a freaken maniac! I have never, never liked Putin. Putin is just another communist dictator that wants to bring Russia back to the Soviet Union! Putin has got to go! If Russia is going to have any kind of a future ahead of them they need to do away with Vladimir. I have always said that Putin just took charge made plans to make it back into the Soviet Union and put frosting on the top to make it look good to the Western world. Putin has said over and over again that he is sick of Russia being a second world power and is sick of the US being the only real world power and said if he has to use Nuclear Weapons to go somewhere than he will!  People the signs are bright orange and they have been for a while!

We may not know it but I believe Russia is in utter turmoil. I believe Russia is making enemies to hide their own problems. I believe Putin has successfully reinstated the KGB and they are going around assassinating anyone that goes against them. Look at how many reporters have died in Russia and Europe in the last couple months. They all had one tie to each other, they publically spoke out against Putin!

To all you democrats, according to Putin he’s just like you:

“I am an absolute and pure democrat,” Putin said.

And on that note I’ll end this post.

If we don’t do something we may enter another cold war and this time it may get hot, nuclear hot.

Russia needs to be saved, Putins Got To Go

Let’s see, Russia may make a pre-emptive strike to protect its interests and stabilize the area. Hmmm, where have we heard that before???

A country objects to another nation placing defense weapons to close to its borders, Hmmm does the Cuban Missle crisis sound familiar?

In utter turmoil and making enemies to hide their problems, hmmm where have I heard that before?

Yes I agree that Putin’s rhetoric was harsh, but his speech is mostly for show. Putin is just pushing the West’s buttons, he certainly doesn’t want to start a new cold war. A new cold war would certainly not benifit Russia. I of course don’t agree with many of Putin’s polcies and it is obvious he has backslided on democratic reforms. But many RUssians still approve of Putin. They know he is not a democrat, but he has brought stability and the most order Russia has scene since the soviet era. We have to remember times were better for Russians in the Soviet Era and most are nostalgic for the past. Wages were paid and there was no such thing as unemployment and little corruption. Now that has all changed and Russia had become the definition of corruption. Putin has brought a clear path to Russia. Russia is now stable and has the economic capabilities to dominate foriegn policy like it did during soviet times. Most Russians have lived a rough life, it is in the Russian culture to survive suffering. This is Russia’s first experience with democracy and it is a tough system. Russians are not use to the decentralization of democracy, it takes time to change. Give it a few years maybe a couple decades to get use to the system. Remember Russians will always be different from the West and that is one thing they would like to keep. Do I like Putin no I do not, but I am an American of course I would dislike him. If i was Russian, that I am not sure.

putin has recainted his statements in a way at the g8 meeting saying he will work more openingly with the US on missle defense system. As long as they can activate a missle in azberjan in the caucuses. Like I said before its just empty statements for show. Putin likes testing the waters and the west’s patience. Most Soviet leaders of the past have had similar statements, nikita krushev anyone “We will crush you”! yea exactly, nothing happened

How is setting up a missle protection unit AGAINST IRAN hurting Russia?! ITS NOT.
but could possibly Russia be selling weaponry to Iran? of course they are!
Thats why Putin cares and thats why Putin has got to go!

Its not threatening you are right about that. Russia just sees Eastern Europe as its circle of influence. Russia will always be wary of the west. They see no need for a missle defense shield and it will only cause mistrust between them and the West. Yes, Russia’s influence with Iran is not clear, but I think it is drastic to say they are selling weapons to Iran. Russia may like to be a rebel once in awhile to the West, but selling weapons to Iran may push the west over the edge. Russia knows they can’t be completely independent, they need the Wests money. I think Big Jimmy your being a bit drastic and thinking in the cold war times. Russia at the moment does not have the best relations with the west, but really when have they ever. Its better then it was during the soviet yrs. I will not defend Putin, he is an authoritarian but we have to be realistic. We can’t get rid of him. I want him gone to, but it seems like u think we can get rid of him.

Big Jimmy, If you think that russia sells weapon to Iran so what? USA sold a lot of the ammonition and heavy weapons to Iraq, Afghanistan where they “tried to bring the peace”.
Putin is a better men that Bush because he will never send his trops into a strange country just for dominate the OIL!!
And the missils which are standing now on the ground of Chech Rep. and Poland, is very bad idea from a short sighted men like G.W.Bush, his problem is that he is power-holic !! he like to dominate but he can’t. :P He dont have so many supporters anymore, and even if Chech Rep. and Poland will tries to support it will be only to get the mercy. (kiss ass)
I am not russian, and defenetly not american, I am italian, and I dont think that IF somebody get communist or some characteristik of the communist should be juged!! because EVERY COUNTRY has right to make their own economical/political power !
